Credentials​

Mantle uses one GitHub App installation as the read credential.

The credential stores an installation ID. Mantle mints a short-lived installation token from that ID.

  1. Create the integration. Enter a display name. Mantle sets the GitHub organization later, after install.
  2. Select the services that Mantle reads.
  3. Install the Mantle GitHub App on the GitHub organization. Complete the GitHub install flow. Mantle binds the organization login and stores the installation ID. a. You can just click through here and automatically install the integration by providing consent.

Install the Mantle GitHub App

The integration starts in Draft. After install, the status is Unverified. After the checks pass, the status is Connected. The backend then starts the first sync.

Backend checks​

The backend regularly runs a single live check to test that we can mint an access token for your organization. If this access token does not mint successfully, we will mark the status of your integration as unhealthy.
